"ZS-The Motion Picture" vs. "Santa Monica '72 19-02-2005, 23:12:38 Ich wollt mal eine Umfrage starten, welche Liveaufnahme aus der Ziggy Stardust-Zeit Euch besser gefällt? Ich bin eindeutig für die Aufnahme aus Santa Monica, obwohl die Soundqualität schlechter ist. Warum kann ich nicht so richtig erklären - die "Motion Picture" hat zwar die unsäglich furchtbare Coverversion von "Let's Spend The Night Together", aber auch "Time" und "Cracked Actor" zu bieten - während auf der "Santa Monica" natürlich "Life On Mars" ist, einer meiner alltime Favourites... aber wie gesagt, es ist eher eine Bauchentscheidung.Ziggy Stardust - The Motion Picture1. Ich denke, dass Santa Monica dieses Hyper-Mega-Fantastische "Width of a circle" Intro hat. Außerdem spielt die Band da so richtig agressiv. Ich finde generell den Live-Stil von 1972 besser als den von 1973! Man merkt schon ziemlich doll den unterschied von Bowies Aladdin Sane Zeit und seiner Ziggy Stardust Zeit...Von der Qualität her ist natürlich ZS-tmp besser. Quote Selected
